General Description

The Ozonic series of cleaning solvents have been developed as a suitable alternative to chlorinated solvents, such as Trichloroethylene and Trichloroethane 1,1,1. Ozonics are free of chlorine and ozone depleting chemicals. The Ozonic series is an excellent choice when the maximum cleaning efficiency is required. They provide an excellent alternative to aqueous or semi-aqueous solutions. This series is chemically engineered to dissolve common fat, oils and grease that are used in the metalcutting and metalforming industries while being mild to the skin due to the fact that they do not de-fat the skin like most solvents. In addition, they have low odor and are considered to have minimal toxicity.

Application

Ozonic 203 is especially good for machine tool flushing where machine lubricant residues such as varnishes and oxidized oils are a problem. Ozonic 203 is 100% compatible with our Hard Cut and CC series and can be used in a closed, 0% loss, cleaning system.

Instructions

Dip Tanks: All of the Ozonics are suitable for multiple dip tank systems. The following is the recommended procedure. Tank 1 - Wash - Ozonic - 68°-104°F / 20°- 40°C: Tank 2 - Wash - Ozonic - 68°-104°F / 20°- 40°C: Tank 3 - Rinse - Ozonic - 68°-104°F / 20°- 40°C: Tank 4 - Rinse - Ozonic - 68°-104°F / 20°- 40°C. Ozonic 203 is most commonly used for tank side parts cleaning due to its 100% compatibility with our Hard Cut and CC series. Once soiled with a Hard Cut or CC small quantities can be added to the machine using the corresponding Hard Cut or CC without negatively effecting the Hard Cut or CC performance.

Maintenance

The Ozonic series is recyclable by means of decantation, distillation and micro-filtration. Micro-filtration is the most common method used to recycle Ozonics. This fine filtration process will remove the insoluble contaminants such as carbon, dirt, dust, etc. For optimal residue removal, virgin Ozonic should be used for the final rinse.
