General Description
Additive X is intended for use in Hangsterfer’s water-soluble oil coolants, such as S-500, S-500CF, S-1001, HE-2 and all other variations of those 4 products. Additive X is designed to increase pH, improve emulsion stability, improve emulsion lubricity and enhance corrosion protection. In addition, Additive X will reduce the dissolved solids content and conductivity of the emulsion. Additive X is normally only used when recommended as part of a troubleshooting procedure and is not typically required. Additive X is mild to the skin, low foaming and low in odor. Additive X does not contain DEA (diethanolamine) or any free amines (non-reacted amines).
Application
Additive X is concentrated. It is added directly to pre-mixed coolant. For the best results, use Additive X at 0.2% by volume of the coolant being treated. Formula: Number of Gallons of Coolant x 0.002 = Number of Gallons of Additive X.
